Acupuncture

Strategic insertion of fine hair-thin needles to stimulate specific points on the body. Treatment restores balance, alleviates pain and stress, and enhances overall circulation. Based on a meridian system that connects different organs and their functions .

Gua Sha

Scraping the skin with a smooth- edged stone tool to promote circulation, alleviate muscle tension, reduce inflammation and stimulate lymphatic drainage. Commonly used for facial treatments to enhance skin health and reduce puffiness.

Key component of TCM that uses plant, mineral and animal-based substances combined together to create a complex formula. Herbs are taken daily for the duration of your treatment. They may be complimentary to acupuncture or used solo to health ailments. Principles are rooted in the harmony of Yin and Yang.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Cupping

Placing glass cups on skin after creating a vacuum using heat. The suction causes congestion and redness to surface the skin. Promotes circulation, alleviates pain, reduce inflammation, build immunity and clears toxins out the body.

Moxibustion

Burning dried Mugwort indirectly over the skin or directly on the skin with protectors to stimulate acupuncture points, warm the body/dispel cold, increase circulation and enhance natural healing processes. Commonly used to increase energy levels, treat menstrual pain, digestion and joints.

Electro-Acu (E-Stim)

Low-frequency electrical currents used to stimulate acupuncture points. Small electrodes attach to an acupuncture needle, feeling small pulsations. Treats pain and muscle tension, reduces inflammation, improves neuropathies and promotes circulation.
